As a licensed health care provider, the Peg Taylor Center is subject to local, state, and federal standards. Since 2020, we have continually adjusted our program to find the best way to keep our participant families safe and healthy. We will continue to work to maintain the safest possible environment for our program.
Masking provides a high level of protection. While masking is not currently mandatory for health care providers, as of June 2023, participants and staff who wish to mask and are encouraged to do so. Masks are required for new visitors to the Peg Taylor Center, and provided for anyone who needs them. During times of increased risk, it's possible that masks will be required more broadly once again.
Other tools we utilize to help keep our participants healthy include ventilation and air filtration, encouraging vaccination, and the regular antigen testing of staff, participants and volunteers. Temperature checks and frequent communication with participants and families also help us to mitigate Covid-19 risk. As always, frequent hand-washing and the sanitizing of surfaces is a regular part of our program.
It's our wish to protect the health of everyone who comes to see us. Please call Cori Miller, Interim Executive Director at (530) 342-2345 if you have any questions or concerns or need assistance.
